Mae Dr Paul O'Leary  BA, PhD (Cymru) yn Gymrawd o’r Gymdeithas Hanesyddol Frenhinol. Mae’n arbenigo ar hanes Cymru yn y 19eg ganrif, ac yn arbennig ar ei diwylliannau gwleidyddol, a’r Gwyddelod yn mudo i Brydain. Ysgrifennodd hefyd ar hanes cymdeithasol yr iaith Gymraeg.
