It thus follows on from the appropriate module in earlier years (IT20120, IT21530) and aims to deepen students' understanding of Italian as a written language with the emphasis on the ability to translate accurately and idiomatically from Italian. Students who successfully complete the module should feel that they comprehend and translate accurately from a variety of registers of Italian.
