Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of this module students should be able to:

Apply general 3D imaging and analysis techniques to solve representative real world problems.

Demonstrate the ability to evaluate and compare different 3D imaging and analysis techniques for specific real world applications.

Understand typical issues in applying general 3D imaging and analysis techniques to real world problems.

Demonstrate the knowledge about the state of the art 3D imaging and analysis techniques.

Brief description

This module explores and demonstrates how the general 3D imaging and analysis techniques can be tailored to meet specific requirements of different applications in the real world. It will pay particular attention to the analysis of the requirements of specific applications, the adaptation of general 3D imaging and analysis techniques to solve the problems in the real world applications, and demonstration of the introduced techniques whenever possible.
