Dysgu
My teaching interests include cognitive psychology, the psychology of language, psychobiology, neuropsychology, quantitative research methods and statistics.
Ymchwil
My main research interests are in psycholinguistics and the cognitive processes that underpin visual word recognition. In particular, my research has used behavioural and electrophysiological methods (EEG/ERP) to explore hemispheric asymmetries in the orthographic and lexical processing of written words. I am also interested in literacy and bilingualism and have worked with both adult poor readers and a range of bilingual populations, including Welsh/English, Spanish/English and Hebrew/English bilinguals. I am also interested in quantitative methods and statistics, along with electrophysiological (EEG/ERP), eye-tracking and neuroimaging methods.
