PLANNING LEARNING ACTIVITIES
Four general features are important in the above process:-
Attitudes
It is vital to have a positive approach towards learners who have LD and their needs. One advantage of MFL, in this respect is that pupils will, in most cases, be experiencing the subject for the first time. This will mean that, unlike some other curriculum areas, pupils with learning difficulties will not yet have had the opportunity to experience failure in the subject.
This represents a golden opportunity to establish and maintain a level of motivation from a fresh start. However, pupils with SEN will only believe in the possibility of their success in this area if their teachers not only share this belief, but are seen to share it.
