Model 1: How to use

Model 1

• Turn power on to Hub via red COOKER switch situated on the wall.
• Press and hold lock key until LED extinguishes.
• Press ON key and LEDs will light up for ring selection.
• Select appropriate ring and press + or – key to choose heat setting.
• Press clock symbol to select timer if required. Time can be adjusted via the + and – keys.
• When you are finished cooking, select the element you want to switch off by pressing the appropriate ring key and then turn the key to ‘0’.
• If the cooking zone is hot, ‘H’ will be displayed instead of ‘0’.

 

 

 

 

Model 2: How to use

Model 2

• Turn power on to Hub via red COOKER switch situated on the wall.
• Press and hold lock key until LED extinguishes.
• Press ON key and LEDs will light up for ring selection.
• Select appropriate ring and press + or – key to choose heat setting.
• Press clock symbol to select timer if required. Time can be adjusted via the + and – keys.
• Use the Boost (P) button to quicken boil times.
• When you are finished cooking, select the element you want to switch off by pressing the appropriate ring key and then turn the key to ‘0’.
• If the cooking zone is hot, ‘H’ will be displayed instead of ‘0’.

 

 

 

Pots and pans requirements

Only magnetised metal pots and pans, such as cast iron or steel, are suitable to use on induction hobs. Pure aluminium or copper pans will not work with this type of hob unless the base is bonded with a magnetic metal.

Using the timer

• To use the timer as a minute minder, touch the timer activate key. You will see a flashing ‘00’ on the timer display. Set the duration period by touching (+) or (-). When the set time finishes, the timer will give an audible warning. Press any keys to stop the audible signal.
• All cooking zones can be assigned with independent timers simultaneously. Activate the zone by pressing its button and set the heating level via the (+) or (-) buttons. Touch the timer activate key. At first activation, the control proposes the minute minder. Touch timer activate key until the related timer indicator light is on. When the set time finishes, the timer will give an audible warning. Press any key to stop the audible signal.
• To stop set timers, select the timer activate key.

Using the key lock

• Key locks switch off the control panel. If the Key Lock Indicator is lit, the lock has been activated.
• The lock function is active if they Key Lock button is pressed for more than 2 seconds. This operation is acknowledged by a buzzer.
• The lock function can be deactivated by pressing the Key Lock button for more than 2 seconds. The light will turn off and a buzzer will sound.

Cleaning

• Do not use sharp, abrasive cleaners or sharp metal scrapers to clean the surface as this may result in damage to the surface.
• Always turn the appliance off before cleaning.

Safety

• Never leave cooking unattended. Unattended cooking on a hob can be very dangerous and may result in a fire.
• If the surface is cracked, contact the Residences team before your next use. Using an appliance with a cracked surface may result in electric shock.
• Metallic objects such as utensils and lids should not be placed on the hob surface.
• Always position pans over the centre of the cooking zoneand turn the handles to a safe position so they cannot be knocked over.
