Secure Cycle Storage
Application for Secure Indoor Cycle Parking Cwrt Mawr, Rosser & Trefloyne and Penbryn Residences Session
The University actively encourages residential students to use bicycles as a mode of transport, and is currently developing the provision of secure indoor cycle parking. The first two of these are now available at CMRT Communal Block and Penbryn, if you are a resident at CMRT or Penbryn, you are welcome to use this form to apply for one of a limited number of spaces.
If you do decide to bring your cycle to the University please remember that you will need to take out separate insurance, as your Endsleigh room contents insurance does not cover theft or damage to a cycle. In accordance with University fire regulations and your accommodation licence, bicycles are prohibited in study bedrooms, communal areas, and all evacuation routes including corridors, staircases and entrance ways. Any bicycle found within any part of a residence will be removed by Residential and Hospitality Services staff and a recovery fee will be levied. There is no charge for this facility for the session, and the provision is available up to the end of the licence period in each academic year.
