The programmes have been designed to be open to graduates of all disciplines who have a good first degree in any subject.
Those who can demonstrate suitable professional qualifications or skills are welcome to apply.
The wide range of backgrounds that are attracted to the LLM courses contributes to the quality of discussion - various experiences, viewpoints and backgrounds enhance the quality of debate between students. Thus not only will you gain an excellent qualification but you will also become familiar with a wide variety of interesting viewpoints on the issues involved in the courses.
For overseas students whose first language is not English, it is necessary to have a suitable English language qualification before starting the course. Aberystwyth University offers students such courses within its Language Resource Centre. Information on funding is also available.
To undertake the LLM courses by distance learning, you will need to have access to the Internet and email facilities.

You can obtain a copy of our application forms and reference forms by contacting the Postgraduate Admissions Office at: Tel: 01970 622023 or Fax: 01970 622921 or E-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. Alternatively you may download TWO COPIES of both the relevant application form and the relevant reference form from the Postgraduate Admissions office. Applications cannot be considered until one confidential letter of reference has been received.
All applications for postgraduate and distance learning study must be made on the relevant Aberystwyth University application form. You must submit two copies of your application form together with two copies of all supporting documentation.
