4.1 Introduction to Undergraduate Awards
1. The ‘Regulations for Modular Initial Degrees’ should be read in conjunction with the Examination Conventions outlined below in Section 4 of the Academic Quality Handbook. Undergraduate students should also refer to the Undergraduate Student Examination Handbook.
2. The Examination Conventions are used to determine progression between years of study on different types of award and the calculation of degree classes at the end of degree schemes. These Conventions should be read in conjunction with the Academic Regulation on Academic Progress.
3. For Bachelor’s Degree students considering transferring to the Integrated Master’s Degree, please refer to the Integrated Master’s Examination Conventions.
