Student Works Included in Royal Photographic Society Exhibition

Photograph by Brenda Bullock. Postgraduate student Brenda Bullock recently attended the private view of the Royal Photographic Society Awards 2011 in London. While Brenda had been invited by the RPS to submit ten photographs, in order that five be selected for inclusion in the show, all twelve works that she presented were hung in the exhibition! The private view gave Brenda the opportunity to rub shoulders with the famous and meet those influential individuals who are in a position to help in her career. On the strength of this new body of work, Brenda will be putting her name forward for accreditation and election to Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society.

The November issue of the Royal Photographic Society's Journal features a four-page article on Brenda's work, "Through the Glass Darkly," which illustrates a number of photographs from her Masters exhibition Unheimlich at the School of Art (pp.530–3).
