Royal Society of Marine Artists Annual Exhibition 2011

Second year Fine Art student Gabriel Leopoldo Gooch Blanco has had work selected for the forthcoming Royal Society of Marine Artists Annual Exhibition 2011 at the Mall Galleries in central London. He entered the RSMA ‘Young Marine Artists Competition’ which provides the opportunity for young painters to have their work shown alongside RSMA professional artists. The competition is sponsored by the Worshipful Company of Shipwrights.

The annual exhibition is well known as a showcase for some of the finest marine artists working today. Subjects range from historical to contemporary shipping, yachting, racing, coast and harbours, together with still- and wild-life and the occasional portrait. The only requirement is that the content must have something to do with the sea and tidal waters.

The exhibition runs Wednesday 12 - Sunday 23 October 2011, 10am to 5pm
