Parties Meetings and Functions
Brynamlwg clubhouse is an ideal venues for parties, functions, meetings and seminars both for departments and other groups within AU and for outside bodies.
2 rooms are available for hire:
- Party Room: can accommodate up to 60 people and has disabled access. You may arrange to have a bar, food and tea and coffee by contacting the Bar Manager (details below)
- TV/Meeting Room: can accommodate approximately 15-20 people and is located upstairs. Tea and coffee may be arranged in advance.
- Buffets are available by arrangement with the Bar Manager - see our food and drink page for more details. Please inform the Bar Manager of any special dietary requirements before the day.
- A 50% non-returnable deposit of the total room rental charge will be collected for ad-hoc meetings when the initial booking is made and the remainder should be paid no later than the day of the meeting or by agreement for corporate accounts. For regular meetings the 50% initial deposit for the first meeting will be kept “in-hand” until the final payment of the series is made.
- Standard room booking charges will also apply to all private dining functions.
- Room and bar bills will be invoiced separately to food bills. Any food catering requirements will be made and paid privately between the bar manager and the person making the booking.
Rates Effective from 1st January 2010: There is a 50% discount on room rental charges for meetings attended exclusively by club members
