Responsibilities

In his role as Skills and Enterprise Officer for the CADARN Skills Centre Adrian is involved in identifying the skills requirements of businesses and organisations and establishing training from Aberystwth University to meet such demand.   A key part of his role is to liaise with academics within the University to identify areas for potential CPD development. Through The Skills Centre Adrian works closely with the University's Careers Advisory Service to promote graduate employability and identify graduate employability skills that businesses require.

Biography

Prior to joining Aberystwyth University, Adrian was a member of the management team that re-launched Manchester City Council's flagship market the 'Manchester Arndale Market'.  During his time with Manchester City Council he was nominated for the 'Manchester City Council Rising Star Award 2008'.  Adrian relocated to Aberystwyth in 2009 and worked in Residential and Hospitality Services before joining CCS.  A graduate of Liverpool University, Adrian holds a degree in Sociology and Criminology and is currently learning Welsh.
