1st Year Success for Placement Programme

In its first year the Strategic Insight Programme has funded 18 unique placements at Aberystwyth University for staff and business to begin and explore opportunities on ways to collaborate.
Based throughout the UK Private, Public and Voluntary sectors placements have covered a variety of topics such as public exhibitions, digital asset management, interactive storytelling, archive management, online training software, foreign policy and software application development.
Having the resource to enable participants to spend time developing external relationships directly supports the Universities strategic aim to -
‘contribute to regional and national wealth creation and economic development through collaborative activities with commercial, industrial, professional and public sector organisations’
Now entering the 2nd year, calls for applications have been re-opened for placements scheduled between 1st Aug 2012 and 28th June 2013.
