Academic Champions of Enterprise (ACE)
Academic Champions of Enterprise (ACEs) are a network of staff members embedded in academic departments and linked to the CCS Enterprise team. ACEs disseminate information about Enterprise and Entrepreneurship amongst departmental staff and, in turn, to students.
Achievements: As at May 2010 we have recruited seven ACEs, six in academic departments and a further one in the Careers Advisory Service.
Current Activity: The Aberystwyth ACEs meet together regularly; attend enterprise conferences and other relevant activities and network with ACEs from Bangor and Swansea Universities.
Planned Developments:It is anticipated that other University departments will appoint ACEs, which will further develop the network. ACEs will also be involved in new enterprise activities, as they arise.
