Contract and Collaborative Research

CCS offers services to support the delivery of Contract and Collaborative Research projects involving Aberystwyth University expertise and / or facilities. 

The CCS team are experienced in negotiation with business partners in order to develop the best possible deal from such projects - maximising academic benefits as well as Third Mission income generated.  Negotiation does not stop at financial matters; CCS will ensure that mechanisms are in place to protect Intellectual Property, publishing opportunities and use of any material developed for teaching and research.

In addition, we work with personnel in Research Grants and Contracts to ensure that any financial or other liabilities are minimised.

Business Development Staff from CCS can also advise on possible funding mechanisms to support academia / business collaborations.
