Aberystwyth University Journal of Academic Practice

Aberystwyth University Journal of Academic Practice

The remit of the journal is to provide a space to reflect on and disseminate good practice in teaching and learning across AU and beyond. Papers are welcomed from internal as well as external academic practitioners.

Submission

Articles will be peer-reviewed, normally by two referees. The paper should be approximately 3,000 - 5,000 words exclusive of the bibliography, although longer and shorter papers will be accepted where appropriate. Short reflections on the learning experience and insights about teaching from the student perspective are welcomed from undergraduates and postgraduates. These would not normally exceed 1,000 words. Harvard formatting should be used, with endnotes rather than footnotes. Diagrams, images and other visual material is encouraged and should be clearly labelled.

In the first instance, articles should be submitted electronically to Dr Jo Maddern: pgcthe@aber.ac.uk or Graham Lewis: gjl@aber.ac.uk
