Supporting Students Module
The module is designed for all those involved in “student facing” activities and aims to provide a broad overview of supporting student issues within Aberystwyth University and the higher education sector generally. The intention is that on successful completion of the module participants will be in a position to understand the wide range of issues that may arise in supporting students, develop their own practice and be able to refer students to the appropriate intervention service.
The programme is an accredited CQFW level 4 30 credit module and is designed to be work-based and flexible enough to be completed within two semesters (12 months maximum). The programme has been benchmarked against the United Kingdom Professional Standards Framework for teaching and supporting learning in higher education.
The module runs twice a year in November and March. For information or to book a place please contact Giles Polglase in CDSAP (gop@aber.ac.uk x 2386)
