“Calling all technical staff…..!!”

Did you know the higher education sector in the UK employs over 30,000 technical staff?
Did you know technical staff support teaching, learning and research in such diverse areas as animal breeding to theatrical wardrobe to space science and laboratory work?
Did you know technical staff have their own organisations which promote technical staff development and education?

If you are a Technical Professional at Aberystwyth University you are invited to attend the Technical Staff Forum.

The Forum is a venue where technical staff can share best practice; offer internal training opportunities for colleagues; disseminate information about national training and development opportunities; and act as a conduit for technical staff to the Staff Development Users Group.

Members of the Technical Staff Forum receive information about lunchtime sessions, internal and external events and can use the associated SharePoint site to ask questions of, or advice from, other technical staff.
