College of Europe: Welsh Assembly Government Scholarship
The Welsh Assembly Government has recently confirmed that it will be offering scholarship funding for postgraduate study at the College of Europe in 2012-13.
The scholarship is available to a student studying on one of the College of Europe’s programmes:
- MA in European Interdisciplinary Studies
- MA in EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies
- MA in European Political and Administrative Studies
- MA in European Economic Studies
- LLM in European Law
The scholarship will provide fee support of up to €14,000 and board and lodgings of up to €7,000. Any successful applicant ‘ordinarily resident in Wales’ is eligible.

Please note that the two working languages of the College of Europe are English and French. Details of the specific French language requirements for each programme are provided on the College of Europe website.
All eligible students offered a place at the College of Europe will be considered for the scholarship. No separate application form needs to be completed.
In addition to the Welsh Assembly Government Scholarship, all applicants will be considered for scholarships financed by the Bruges-Natolin UK European scholarships Fund (http://brunatscholars.org.uk/). Again, no separate application form needs to be completed.
