What is UCAS Clearing?

UCAS Clearing is your last opportunity to apply to and gain a place at Aberystwyth University in 2009. The UCAS Clearing and Late Entry period starts in July and finishes on the 20th September. UCAS Clearing is valuable to both students and universities alike as it:

• Allows students who have a firm or insurance place to reject/decline their offers and use UCAS Clearing to find a new, suitable university course
• Allows students who had not considered entering University find a place via UCAS Clearing and Late Entry late on in the UCAS admissions cycle
• Allows anyone who did not meet their firm or insurance offer to find a course during UCAS Clearing after results day.

Numerous universities have courses available until late in the UCAS Clearing period, however, Aberystwyth University will only have a few places available and our popular courses will be snapped up during the first days of UCAS Clearing. Find out more about our available Clearing Courses.
