Lucy Tedd's outstanding service recognised

Lucy Tedd with her award for 20 years as Editor of Program

After 20 years as Editor of the journal 'Program' DIS Lecturer Lucy Tedd was recently awarded an Outstanding Service Award by the Emerald Literati Network. The award also recognised Lucy's significant contribution to the development of scholarly research in the field of digital librarianship.

Short Courses Launched

Short Course support web site displayed on an iPad This October, as well as celebrating 25 years of Distance Learning, the Department of Information Studies launched a series of CPD Short Courses.
Designed for working information professionals who want continuing professional development (CPD), the courses include specialist fields such as Rare Books and Music librarianship.
