Biography

I started working in libraries by chance, when I landed a job as a library assistant at Templeton College in Oxford. Whilst there I completed my BA(Hons) in Information Studies as a part-time student at UCE. I then moved to the Open University as a Multimedia Services Development Officer, and worked on the Digital Video Applications Project as Project Officer. Whilst working at the OU I completed my MA in Online and Distance Education. I moved into the Information Literacy Unit at the Open University where I was one of the authors and moderators of the Beyond Google Technology Short Course. I have also worked on the CPLD Course "The Evolving Information Professional" which the OU has recently launched. All this has led me to Aberystwyth and my post as Teaching Fellow.

Avid reader of fantasy, historical and detective fiction. I also enjoy online gaming (World of Warcraft)and spend far too much time on Azeroth.
