Content Management System

The Web Team provides support and training for staff using the Content Management System (CMS).

If you need training, or you would like to arrange training for a group of users in your department, please contact Suzy Shipman.

For current CMS users, we have a SharePoint site where you can find up to date documentation and further information.

Regular Review

After the phased roll-out of new CMS-based web sites for all University departments has been completed, we will be continuing to assist departments with the regular review, maintenance and update of their web sites following a website review rota . Each department has been allocated to a phase in the review rota and the Web Team will focus on the relevant departments during these phases. Other departments may still request support during these periods, but priority will be given to the allocated departments.

Blogging

The Web Team and Information Services (IS) provide joint support for staff blogging using the University blogging service. For more information please contact blogging@aber.ac.uk.

Personal Web Pages

Information Services (IS) provide support for students and staff publishing personal web pages on users.aber.ac.uk :

• Visit the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) pages and see if your question has already been answered
• Visit the Customer Service Desks in person or contact IS by email, telephone (01970 622400) or Instant Messenger (is@aber.ac.uk)

BlackBoard

IS provide support for students and staff creating and accessing information on BlackBoard:
