IBERS Development – Penglais Traffic Calming
25 August 2010

Work on the new IBERS building at Penglais is due to start on Tuesday 31st August and is programmed to take sixty weeks to complete. The site for the development is the area between the Cledwyn and Edward Llwyd buildings, and staff, students and visitors are advised that there will be pedestrian access only in this area for the duration of the project. There will also be a Contractor compound set up on the green area adjacent to the Cledwyn Spur, and traffic calming measures will be installed on the road leading down to the Visualisation Building.
As a result, there will be alterations to the traffic flow around campus: staff, students and visitors are asked to please take note of the new traffic signage. Please also note that some pedestrian paths may also be affected.
Please refer to the attached Penglais Traffic Calming Measures Plan for details of the changes.
