Interdisciplinary Modules
Modules open to students from outside this Department
These modules capitalise on the Department's research interests and provide coverage of an interdisciplinary and comparative type. Many of the modules are open to students who are not otherwise registered for modules or degrees within the Department of European Languages, though you should consult the individual module descriptions for any restrictions on admission.
These modules not only broaden the educational experience of students of individual languages, but also attract students from outside the Department with interests in literature, culture and linguistics. Typically, you would not be expected to read works of literature (or linguistic studies) in a language or languages which you are not already studying at university level.
