Information Strategy Committee
Composition
- Pro Vice-Chancellor (Chairman)
- Registrar and Secretary - Chair of Information Governance Sub-Group
- Director of Information Services
- Senior Administrative Officers of the University as nominated by the Registrar and Secretary
- Senior Information Services staff as nominated by the Director of Information Services
- One member of the academic staff nominated by each of the three Faculties
- Chair of the Business Information projects Sub-Group
Terms of Reference:
- To provide strategic direction to the management and use of information at an institutional level to enhance the University's financial and operational performance.
- To identify priorities and commission responses/action from its reporting committees or University departments on strategic information issues including: inforamtion security, business continuity, information system developments and archiving and records management.
- To consider reports form the committee's two sub groups, "Information Governance" and "Business Information Projects" and to consider relevant matters referred to it by other University committees;
- To advise and make recommendations to Finance and Strategy Committee as necessary on resources and funding issues relating to such activities.
