Terms of reference

To deal with and to take executive action on salary matters that are not within the province of the Staffing Committee. Specifically, the Committee shall determine

  1. matters of salary and remuneration, in relation to the Vice-Chancellor, Registrar and Secretary, Director of Information Services, Professors, Heads of Department appointed under Ordinance 19, and other posts on equivalent grades;
  2. the allowances of the Pro Vice-Chancellors, Deans of Faculties, Heads of Department, and for other special responsibilities undertaken by academic staff members.
