Reports of the above committees, with the exception of the Remuneration Committee, shall be presented to
the Senate for information and comment, normally before they are submitted to the Council.
The following procedure shall apply in the case of the Planning and Resources Committee:
PARC reports will be submitted first to Senate and then to Council together with any
recommendation Senate may wish to add.
Senate may ask the Committee to reconsider a recommendation and to report back to Senate
thereon prior to its onward transmission to Council.
In arriving at decisions on PARC's recommendations relating to resources Council, as the
administrative and financial authority of the university, will take full account of any recommendation(s)
of the Senate as the body responsible to Council for the academic functions of the university in teaching
and research.
The Remuneration Committee shall report directly to Council.
