The Vice-Chancellor and Principal shall be an ex-officio member of the Faculties.
The Faculties shall meet when necessary before a meeting of the Senate and shall prepare a report to the Senate.
Members of the Senate shall have access to the Minute files of the Faculties in the Registry for at least two days before each meeting of the Senate.
The Faculties are advisory bodies of the Senate and their reports shall require the approval of the Senate. The Faculties shall appoint their own Chairman.
Any proposed change in the Institution's regulations relating to degree courses shall be referred to the Faculties for their observations before any decision is made by the Senate.
All subjects of special study and research for the PhD degree shall be considered in the first instance by the Faculty concerned and submitted to the Research Degrees Board for report to the Senate and thereafter to the Academic Board.
The Faculties, after consideration of the Reports of representatives on the Academic Board, or of any Reports made by the Boards of Studies, may submit recommendations thereon to the Senate.
The Faculties may submit recommendations to Senate on any matters relating to entrance requirements, degree courses, syllabuses of study or timetable arrangements.
