Meetings of the Senate
  1. The dates of meetings for the ensuing session shall be notified during the Easter term meeting of each session. The dates may be changed at the discretion of the Chairman, provided due notice, normally of seven days, is given.
  2. Notices of Ordinary Meetings shall be sent to each member at least two days before the meeting.
  3. Providing one day's notice is given, a Special Meeting of the Senate may be called at any time either by the Vice-Chancellor and Principal, or by one of the Pro Vice-Chancellors in the Vice-Chancellor's absence, or at the written request of five members. No business shall be considered at a special meeting other than that contained in the notice calling the meeting, and any decisions taken at such a meeting shall require confirmation at the next ordinary meeting.
