Senate shall decide upon its nomination to Council for the Offices of ProVice-Chancellors by ballot. The period of office of Pro Vice-Chancellors shall be three years unless the Council decides in a particular case to invite a Pro Vice-Chancellor to remain in office for a second and final term of three years. Nominations duly proposed and seconded and showing the consent of the nominee should be sent to the Vice-Chancellor and Principal before the March meeting in the session preceding the session of assuming office.
