A History Degree enables you to develop a range of skills which you can offer potential employers. The Department of History and Welsh History is hosting a special social event to offer students guidance about how they can best demonstrate this in job applications and interviews. This employability event will be held on Monday 9 May at 5pm in the Wasdell room in Penbryn. Drinks and a buffet will be provided.
Due to the likely high demand for a limited number of places, please email Jim Cooper (jsc@aber.ac.uk) or add your name to the list on his office door (B24) as soon as possible. Places will be available on a 'first-come first-served' basis.
If students have any other questions about employability they are encouraged to speak to either Jim Cooper or their personal tutor. Students should also consider a visit the to Careers Advisory Service.
