Biography

Joan joined the History & Welsh History department as Departmental Administrator in August 2010. Before taking up her post she worked for four years in the Department of International Politics and, following this, in University Estates Management. She has worked in Higher Education for nineteen years. Previously she has enjoyed working for an Oxford Language School, an American Publishing Company and established law firms.

Her role is extremely varied, reflecting the cyclical nature of university life.
