MSc Managing the Environment
What do you want to be doing in a year’s time? Conservation ecologist? Environmental manager? Consultant? Researcher? Reserve warden?
This established internationally recognised Masters programme has been designed to meet these objectives by providing targeted vocational and professional skills for a career in these areas.
A one year programme involving a core of key management skills which you then tailor to your own needs and interests by following one of our five specialist pathways:
- Environmental Sustainability
- Marine and Freshwater Systems
- Habitat Restoration and Conservation
- Risk Assessment of GM Crops
- Bioenergy and Environmental Change
Students acquire practical and field experience and develop skills targeted for employment in the Environmental sector:

Application
We invite applications for limited places by individuals possessing a 2(2) degree or higher in a relevant discipline. Applicants with equivalent experience are also encouraged to apply and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
