UK Luminescence and ESR dating meeting 2012

 The next UK luminescence and ESR dating research meeting will be held at Aberystwyth University from the 12-14th September 2012. The meeting is intended to provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of the latest research in luminescence and ESR dating and related work. Presentations covering basic physics, methodological issues and the application of these techniques are all welcome. The meeting will consist of both oral and poster presentations, and presentations by research students are particularly encouraged.

These meetings are held every year when there is not an international luminescence and electron spin resonance meeting (i.e. two out of every three years). They are more informal than the international meetings and there is no specific publication associated with them. These have been held in the British Museum (1993), Royal Holloway and Bedford New College (1994), Sussex (1995), Durham (1997), Cheltenham (1998), Oxford (2000), Glasgow (2001), Aberystwyth (2003), St Andrews (2004), Liverpool (2006), Sheffield (2007), Royal Holloway (2009) and Oxford (2010). The meeting will in Aberystwyth University from 12-14th September 2012 continues this long and succesful series of conferences.
