Biography
In 2009, I was appointed as a researcher/administrator on two projects in IGES having completed my BA, MA and PhD in Human Geography at Aberystwyth. The first is working with Michael Woods (coordinator) on a European Union FP7 project on ‘Developing Europe's Rural Regions in the Era of Globalization’ (DERREG), and the second, working on the Wales Institute for Social and Economic Research, Data and Methods (WISERD), a HEFCW/ESRC funded collaborative project involving researchers across five Welsh universities (with Martin Jones, Michael Woods, Jesse Heley and Suzie Watkin at IGES).I recently completed my PhD on ‘Practising post-9/11 conspiracy: a common-place geopolitics’ which examined how conspiracy has informed particular ways of understanding and practising geopolitics for both publics and politicians in the context of post-9/11 America.
