SSP 'Best in Meeting'

A presentation detailing the ionospheric work undertaken by the Solar System Physics group was jointly awarded the “York EMC Services Ltd Best Paper Prize” at the USRI Festival of Radio Science. The meeting, which took place at the University of Birmingham on 15th December 2009, highlighted radio science research within the UK. It provided an excellent platform to discuss the links between our ‘blue skies’ research and the applications projects taking place elsewhere in the UK. Alan Wood presented work on behalf of the research group, which included contributions from Eleri Pryse, Emma Whittick and Helen Middleton.
