Aberystwyth University is Best in the Country for Student Experience
Aberystwyth University offers the best all-round student experience in the Country according to The Times Higher Education’s Student Experience Survey which was published on Thursday 15th January 2009.
Aberystwyth University is also ranked 8th in the UK out of the total of 101 universities featured.
Students Satisfaction at Aberystwyth
Aberystwyth ranks first in Wales and in the UK top 10 for student satisfaction in the Times High Education's 2009 Student Experience Survey just published. Asked "whether students would recommend their university to a friend" Aberystwyth was joint second. For IMAPS this recognition from our undergraduates follows on from Aberystwyth ranking top in the UK for student satisfaction for Physics teaching in the 2009 Guardian Student Satisfaction Survey.
Physics at Aberystwyth Tops Guardian Student Satisfaction Poll
According to the Guardian University Guide 2009 this month, 94% of physics students are satisfied with the quality of teaching they receive at Aberystwyth. This places Physics in Aberystwyth at the top of the table for Student Satisfaction.
With Aberystwyth Physics scoring highly in other categories (6th for job prospects and expenditure per student), and coming top of the Welsh Universities in virtually every category, studying Physics in Aberystwyth becomes a very attractive prospect.
