Why have you chosen to be a Global Ambassador?

I really enjoy being in Aberystwyth.

I feel really happy within the academic environment at Aberystwyth University. I wanted to do something to contribute to the academic community and build Aberystwyth’s brand awareness among the people all over the world.

What is the best thing about being an international student?

Personally for me the best thing about being an international student is possibility to explore new parts of the world, new culture, new habits associated with British culture. Moreover being in Aberystwyth gave me a brilliant opportunity to improve my language skills that wouldn’t have been possible if I didn’t come to Aberystwyth.

My Course:

Currently I’m doing master’s degree in International Business Management. Choosing this course was the best decision I’ve ever made in my whole life. Incredibly interesting lectures in topic areas associated with finance, marketing, business, HR.

Social life:

Living within university accommodation gives you a lot of opportunities to make new friends. Everything is easier after you make new friends.

Clubs and societies:

Aberystwyth has a wide choice of available societies to which you can sign up for by SU website.

The best thing about Aberystwyth?

Aberystwyth has a very friendly and helpful community and citizens. It is a great place to live in.

Advice for prospective students?

Get involved in any activity as soon as possible after arriving to Aberystwyth. No matter if it’s learning or training. If you can’t settle down or make friends as fast as you’d like to just go to the seafront and look what beautiful place you live in. Enjoy it. Don’t spend too much time on your own in your flat because Aberystwyth has so much to offer.

Has the University been supportive during your time here?

Really supportive. After arriving to Aberystwyth I was surrounded by a huge amount of people who were always around to help me and these people are still there. There is an awareness that whenever you ask for help you get some, and this makes living in Aberystwyth is really calm and comfortable.

Your future:

I hope to successfully graduate from Aberystwyth University. Apart from this I haven’t made a decision regarding my future yet. I think I will either apply for PHD studies at Aberystwyth University or look for the job in shipping industry or intermodal transport.
