Points to Note

  1. Annual tuition fees will rise roughly with inflation in following academic years.
  2. Students starting part way through an academic year will only pay a portion of the fees for that academic year.
  3. In line with the practice of other agricultural science departments in the UK, it may be necessary to charge supplementary fees up to a maximum of £3000 for each year of stufy for research in the Welsh Institute of Rural Studies involving large animals, some of which can be inherently very costly. Whether a supplementary charge is levied and the extent of that charge will depend on the nature of the research being undertaken. Applicants will be advised on any such charges at the earliest stage in the offer process.
  4. In line with the practice of other biological sciences departments in the UK, it may be necessary to charge supplementary fees up to a maximum of £3000 for each year of study for research involving significant amounts of consumable reangets, which may be inherently very costly. The actual charge will depend on the nature of the research being undertaken. Applicants will be advised of any such charges at the earliest stage in the offer process.
