New Welsh Language iPhone, iPad and iPod touch app launched

A new application for the iPhone, the iPad and the iPod touch, which helps people to learn Welsh, was launched on the Welsh Learner’s stall, Maes D, at the National Eisteddfod on Wednesday 4th of August.

International students, accompanied by IRC staff, were recent guests at the National Library of Wales, in an evening event which had been especially organised for them.

University Plays Integral Part In £1m International Research

Aberystwyth University is part of a £1 million international research effort to combat liver fluke – a parasite which causes disease in livestock, resulting in billions of pounds in losses every year to farmers around the world
