About Erasmus

The Lifelong Learning Programme, funded by the European Union is designed to encourage co-operation between higher education institutions across Europe.  Erasmus aids the exchange of students as well as university staff. 

The aim of Erasmus is to create a ‘European Education area’.  Erasmus has become a driver in the modernisation of higher education institutions and systems in Europe.
