About the North American Exchange
Aberystwyth’s North American Exchange programme has been running for a number of years with many of our students studying across the pond each year. We also are delighted to accept many incoming students from our partners. We have fostered links with institutions ranging west to east across the continent from Washington State University to the University of Pittsburgh, and north to south from the University of Victoria in Vancouver to the University of Alabama.
Most people agree that a period of study abroad provides an opportunity to gain new perspectives, both on subject matter of your own degree course and on the life and culture of another country. We have an exciting programme of undergraduate exchanges with North American Universities, as well as a few in Canada and Australia, through which you could spend your second year (or for some subject a semester only) of your degree at an American university.
