Police Registration Scheme
Some International Students are required to register with the police when they arrive in Aberystwyth. A stamp or sticker in your passport will confirm whether you are required to register.
At the beginning of the academic year, the International Student Adviser will arrange a registration session on campus. Please collect a pre-registration questionnaire from the reception on the third floor of the Student Welcome Centre. This reduces the processing time considerably. Alternatively, you can contact the police station in Aberystwyth directly to arrange an appointment.
If you change address, or if you are issued with a nwe passport, or an extension to your student visa, you must notify the police of these changes. it is not necessary to book an appointment for this.
