Applying for a Student Visa

You may require a student visa in order to travel to the UK to study at Aberystwyth University.  In order to apply for this visa, you will need a ‘CAS certificate’ from Aberystwyth University confirming that you have received an ‘unconditional’ offer of study, and that we will be sponsoring you for the duration of that course.

Students from within the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA) are free to travel to the UK, and therefore, do not require a visa.  However, if you aren’t sure if this applies to you, the UKVisa website has a very useful tool for checking your eligibility.
