Arriving

If you arrive at the station in Aberystwyth during the last few days before the term starts you will find someone from AU or the Guild of Students waiting to greet you and help you to your Hall of Residence or other accommodation.

If there is no-one at the station to meet you, a taxi from the taxi rank to the left outside of the station entrance to your accommodation. The cost of a taxi to the furthest Hall of Residence should only be about £3.50. At the Hall of Residence go to the Reception Desk (or in Cwrt Mawr the Porter's Office in the Communal Block) give your name and explain that you have just arrived. Halls usually require a returnable deposit before they will give you the key to your room.
