Aberystwyth, founded in 1872 as the University of Wales Aberystwyth, is a traditional; campus based university that offers international students a friendly welcome, great student satisfaction and a superb high-quality learning environment. We provide a safe and friendly place to study in beautiful unspoilt scenery on the shores of Cardigan Bay in mid Wales.

Aberystwyth is home to over 9,000 students including around 600 international students from over 90 nations. We deliver world class research and engage in excellent teaching and support. All our degree programmes are internationally recognised and we have many international alliances offering opportunities for research and student and staff exchanges.
