Welcome Hong Kong

Aberystwyth University is proud to be home to a well-established community of students from Hong Kong, achieving the highest standards of academic excellence across the wide variety of subjects offered by our institution. Our university is committed to the development of new partnerships with the education institutions in Hong Kong as well as to maintaining close relationships with a number of our current partners.

Aberystwyth University's representatives travel to Hong Kong regularly to visit schools and lecture at local education institutions. Due to the quality of teaching, the excellent student experience and the safety of Aberystwyth as a city, our university is becoming an increasingly popular destination for independent students as well as for students participating in our exchange programmes. An increasing number of students from Hong Kong choose to study at Aberystwyth University and amongst the most popular courses for our undergraduate students from Hong Kong are Computer Science, Biology, Business and Management, Accounting and Finance, International Politics and Veterinary Biosciences.

The University also offers excellent language support services. These are delivered by the International English Language Centre in the University. Wide range of foundational and support level programmes are available – from Pre sessional English to International Foundation courses.
