Life Skills at University

This collection, designed to help with student life, is available to all members of the University. Housed on the top floor (Level F) of the Hugh Owen Library, it covers general self-help works on a range of topics: money, budgeting, loans, landlords, leaving home, exam stress as well as cookery, household hints and passing a driving test etc. It also includes a selection of the NHS Book Prescription Wales booklist covering twenty of the most common psychological problems. Some topics covered by Book Prescription Wales are: anger, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, low self-esteem and stress.

  • All items in the Collection are added to the Library catalogue, Primo, and are available for loan
